| Have you ever wonderered how these incredible musicians and complete hotties got together? Perhaps an act by the heavens above? Read on to see.... Back in the Fall of 1999, Supreme Sex- Being Adrian (drummer) was sick of playing with crappy heavy metal guitarrists, so he proposed "jamming" with the multi-talented Matt (guitar) and Nick (bass). Out of this sprang B.O.M. (Band On Meridian), whose musical stylings ranged from "death metal" to blues to reagae, etc.The seldom played Not Lenny song "Adrian is such a pimp" came from this band. Unfortunately, this band slowly dissolved through time for reasons unknown... Date: Fall 2000. The band 5606 performs at Pioneer High School. Matt and Nick simultaneously thought "Hey, we can do that!" Local chum Jeff agreed to play guitar for the band, and Adrian argeed to rejoin Matt and Nick on thier crusade to "get chicks". Practices began at Matt's house, and soon the power line-up of Jeff (soon to assume the pseudonym Jefe') on guitar/vocals, Nick on Bass /screaming/ songwriting, Matt on trombone/songwriting, and Adrian on Drums/sexiness began pounding out the hits as well as the covers... Soon, however, it seemed as if something was missing from the bands sound. Wanting to expand the band's horn section, Not Lenny recreuted Ryan as their tenor player. After solidifing its lineup, the band began to prepare for an upcoming show on New Years of 2001 (Dec. 2000). After delivering a solid performance at this show, they began writing more original material which was featured at various venues (birthday parties, talent shows). However, due mostly to lack of motivation, the band dislolved again by the end of the year, where they delivered a quite half-assed performance at the Pioneer Yearbook Signing Party. At this point Matt was on drums, and super-stud Steve was on trombone. Shortly after, Jeff had to go away to college, and it seemed as if the band was doomed...... |
