He cradled her head on his lap gently stroking the silky brown hair that cascaded across his legs. She shifted her head so that she was now looking up at him, a teasing smile on her face. Pacey made his move then, lowering his head so that his mouth met hers in what was intended to be a brief kiss. Only Joey had ideas of her own. She kept hers lips on his refusing to let him go. Not that Pacey minded. Not in the least. His chest was bare with his taut muscles proudly on display and Joey could see his chest moving up and down as he inhaled and exhaled. She deliberately ran her finger across his chest drawing little circles while slowly progressing downwards and watched in enjoyment as Pacey's caught his breath. He growled a little, a playful noise, and grasped the wandering finger. Pacey shook his head as if in gentle rebuke then proceeded to put the offending finger in his mouth and gently sucked. Now it was Joey's turn to catch her breath. She gasped in pleasure as his tongue swirled around her finger and then his teeth were gently scraping her skin increasing the pleasure. It was such a little thing but it was driving Joey to distraction. Pacey smiled up at the woman before him and gently extracted her finger from his mouth. His hands moved to her back pulling her closer to him so that they were in a tight embrace before rolling over so that he was now on top. He kissed her hard again as his hands moved, exploring her body. Each touch caused Joey to shudder, touching her to the core. He knew this body although it was new territory for him. The knowledge was something more than instinctual, it was embedded in his soul. She in turn knew that only he could elicit such a response from her. This was not something predestined but it was real and true. There was nothing false about it, nothing contrived. This attraction, this need they felt for one another was something basic that existed. Something that was waiting to grow and expand with time. Pacey wrapped his arms around her and Joey returned the favour. Safe in each other's embrace they were content to remain.
Sunlight flowed through the room like the tide. He knew instinctively that she was gone. His arms felt empty and the bed felt cold. Another dream. It was only another dream. He sighed and closed his eyes again willing himself to sleep again hoping to recapture the moment. It was useless. Pacey got out of bed knowing he had a full day ahead of him. One thought lingering in his mind. Who is she?
~~Same time~~ Joey's eyes flew open. "Who are you?" she whispered silently to the empty room. It had been almost a week since the incident on the beach, four days since she had told Jen about the kiss and the dreams had still not dissipated. In fact if last night's dream was any indication they were only getting stronger and strongerand more realistic. A banging on her door interrupted Joey's stream of thoughts. "Joey? Wake up!" It was Bessie. "I'm awake." "Good. Get dressed. A meeting has been called and you have to be there." With some puzzlement at Bessie's announcement, Joey reluctantly got out of bed and complied with the demands. |
