Easter Day of Action: 30/03/02 at Newchurch Farm

About 40 protesters gathered at Darley Oaks from all over the country on Saturday to demonstrate against the vile animal abusers: David Hall and Partners.

The police were typically melodramatic and within minutes of the demonstration gathering noisy momentum, they decided it was time to arrest an activist for breach of sec. 14.

The fact remains that the protester was arrested crossing over the A515 in order to join the protesters in the so-called 'designated area'.

The demo continued with a constant barrage of the animal torturing maniacs with drums, whistles, horns and megaphones. There was a continuous presence of demonstrators at the farm throughout the day, coupled with different groups heading out on the home demo circuit to remind the workers that profiting from animal abuse is repulsive and intolerable.

When the 4.30pm curfew was imposed at Darley Oaks, these demos continued in the local area, irrespective of the sec. 14 coercion. There were also more vociferous actions at the Safepharm hell hole and, according to the officer in charge, protesters got "into the animal laboratory"!

The workers were also given hell as they finished another day of animal torture. Unperturbed by the spurious accusations of the police, protesters charged off to Bayer to continue this outstanding day of action against animal suffering. Apparently, stickers were seen blooming all over their blood-stained windows!

Thanks to all those who attended this demonstration against the perverse crimes of David Hall and Partners.
