Carole
who runs "Jaybeth" is in desperate need of
help.
She has heard today from her Solicitor, that she has to move her 4 horses NOW from land owned by a farmer.
She also has to pay the farmers Barrister, and Solicitors costs of £2,500 by 8th MARCH, or this amount will be charged against her property, or failing this she will be sent to prison.
Carole has run this sanctuary for 27 years, saving the lives of thousands of animals. She has given up her life, to be there for these animals................. So please, let us now be there for Carole, and these animals.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:-
If you can help in anyway - please phone Carole DIRECT.
Donations can be sent to the above address.
Thank you.
More
from Carole . . .
Carole
of Jaybeth animal sanctuary would like to send her sincere
thanks and gratitude to all you wonderful people who have sent donations - £500
so far, and everyone who has agreed to muck in and help with all the work .
Great
news, a very kind lady who runs a sanctuary in
East
Anglia ARC had a great day on Sunday, 29th February. We got loads of work done, so thank you to
everyone who made the effort.
There's
still plenty to do, so we have decided to hold another work day on Sunday the
7th of March. If you have a spare few hours or the whole day please come along
and give a hand - there's something for everyone to do.
Carole still
has £2000 to pay in legal costs etc, this is without running of the sanctuary
itself. So if you can help in anyway, whether it be a
fundraising event, doing a stall or giving a donation please do as every little
helps.
Thanks again.
And more . . .
Just to
let you all know that Carole who runs Jaybeth Animal
Sanctuary has won the right to keep the grazing for the horses, this means she can
now keep the horses in
The
other good news is, that all the money raised for the potential legal costs can
now be spent on the animals and will not have to be
paid to the farmer. The land did actually belong
to the sanctuary in the first place and the farmer had no rights to demand it
back.
Carole
of course is over the moon and would like to thank everybody who helped to
fight this. She says that if it wasn't for animal rights people and the fact
that she attended the East Anglia Arc meeting she would never have got through
it. She can't thank people enough!
East
Anglia Arc would also like to thank people for making this happen. A number of
people have put a lot of money, time and effort
into making this a better place for the
animals, and also for Carole as well. So thank you all.
