Holland & Barrett - Bad Company

Holland & Barrett claim to promote a cruelty free, environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Unfortunately, they don't practise what they preach . . .

They are currently using WARFARIN traps in their stores to kill rodents.

WARFARIN takes up to five days to kill an animal, slowly and painfully, bleeding to death internally.

On top of the suffering WARFARIN causes, it is extremely difficult to dispose of due to its highly poisonous nature.

Holland & Barrett are breaking yet another of their 'principles' by damaging the environment. Although how strongly this belief is held, it's hard to say . . . they don't even use recycled toilet rolls in their staff loos!

Although their stock, like fruit and nuts, are classified as 'high risk', there are plenty of kinder, more environmentally friendly ways to discourage rodents.

These include a plug-in device emitting high pitched sounds and humane traps.

Since a large proportion of their customers are vegetarian or vegan, it's time they cleaned up their act.

Please take action today and write a letter to the company telling them you will be boycotting the store until this issue has been resolved.
