Proposed Canada Geese Cull at Cambridge Business Park - The PICAS Response

I would just like to confirm that the management of the business park in Cambridge that employed the royal parks pest control company to slaughter Canada Gesse on their lake a few weeks ago have NOT been in touch with PICAS as they are suggesting they have been in emails to complainants.

PICAS phoned Bill Scott (not the other way around) the park's Projects Manager 2 weeks ago and he made it clear he was not interested in doing anything other than killing the geese and said that as and when the geese returned (which they will do, certainly next year if not this) they will start killing again until they they (the geese) either got the message or there weren't any left.

PICAS has had no communication from the park management since that initial phone call.

I would also like to point out that the RSPCA were present when the killing took place and not only condoned it but also failed to even mention that PICAS were based 10 miles from the park and could offer free non-lethal and effective alternatives to killing.

Park Manager is: Roger Quince - email: [email protected]
