Children: We are a Brady bunch kind of family. Altogether we have seven children. My husband has four by a previous marriage, and I have two. We have one together. Wendi (my husband's oldest) is married to Roland, who is a Venture Capitalist and has done extremely well. They live in San Mateo, CA. Kelli, his next daughter, is into real estate in Sacramento, CA and loving it. Staci, the next daughter, lives in San Francisco, works for a web page design company and does beautiful black and white photography. His youngest, Patrick is a malpractice attorney in LA. My oldest son, Tres, works for Contractors Labor Pool and has just been made the VP in charge of Operations. They're moving back to the West (sort of), to Reno where they will build their own home on the hills above Reno. My younger son, Eric, is involved with a start up company in CA called Art! mosphere, which is basically interactive craft stores for children. Our youngest, Jenni is going to law school at University of San Francisco. She's in her first year. Grandchildren: Ava, 5, Lida, 4, Mia 2 How wonderful it is to have these super kids in our lives.
Occupation: I retired on 2/29/00. I love it!!! Life is too short not to retire young. I encourage anyone who can to do it!!!! I have so many hobbies that I will NEVER be without something to do. My husband manages the control tower at the Santa Barbara airport. Other: California, particularly Southern California, is such a different mind set than most of the US. And Santa Barbara (where we live) is truly a paradise. The temperature is 65-75 about 330 days of the year. And so, similar to Hawaii, it's a very laid back atmosphere. However, we do love to travel and have gone on 5 trips to Europe and one planned for next May.
I would love to participate in any planning for our next reunion in 2003. I think we have an amazing group of people in our class and am very proud to be a part of it.
