Jacole Trivia

Here is a four parter.  How many times since the creation of the NHL have two teams met in the Finals, of which neither had previously won a Stanley Cup?  When was the last time it happened?

Answer
Congratulations to Pat Taaffe for leading team P1, collecting a record 120 points, and winning the 2006 playoff pool's Dino Cup.  It was another great year for the pool, and we can all look forward to the 10th edition of the pool in about 10 months from now.
Congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes!
The points are currently unofficial, everyone has until noon on Thursday June 22nd to let me know of a point correction that needs to be made.  At that point the standings become official and the winners can expect to see the money shortly thereafter.

How The Players Were Ranked

Everything was as of noon 04/03.

Players must have played 20 games.

If a player had played 20 or more games, but less than 60 games, his points were prorated to 60 games.

Players with more than 60 games played had their point total unaltered..

Players were then sorted by points.
