(Special to Classified) The Hard Rock Cafe has always been known as a place where celebrities love to hang out. Our own Hard Rock is no different. During the 85th Annual APBA Offshore World Championship the famous restaurant became Key West Celebrity Central. (Photos Left to Right): Keys pop star Aaron Carter became the youngest performer to do a 'memorabilia presentation" in 30 years of Hard Rock history, as he presented a camouflage costume from his last tour to Key West Hard Rock general manager Keith Lyons, at right, two weekends ago. Carter was joined by his family, including, from left, dad Bob, twin sister Angel, Aaron, his big brother Nick and his mom, Jane. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and Hard Rock's spokesperson David Wylie hang out at the Cafe after Nick's racing team won the APBA Offshore World Championship this weekend. |

The young ladies of the pop sensation No Secrets dropped by to meet fans and sign autographs. Ten year old Michael Wood, visiting from New York, poses with group members. The fifth grader was thrilled to meet his favorite pop group. "This is awesome!" he exclaimee. "I watch them on the Disney channel all the time." Hard Rock's PR extraordinaire David Wylie brought members of the popular boy band O-Town into the cafe for a quick pre-concert meal. Band members Ashley Angel Parker and Trevor Pennick enjoyed a quick bite and then spent some time posing for fan photos and signing autographs. English television actor Adam Zane, enjoying his first visit to the island, came by the eatery several times ruing his week long visit. Actor Elijah Wood, star of The Lord of The Ring movie triology, also made an appearance Saturday night. |
