Design

Jayne Richards is artist, mom, waitress, and graphic designer. She has worked on the North Shore of Lake Superior for many years doing designs for regional events including:

  • The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon
  • Beaver Bay, Mn; Commemorative postal concellation stamp for the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon.
  • Grand Portage Lodge; Elevator doors in lobby and first floors.
  • Grand Portage Rendezvous Day "Dreamdancer" logo and annual t-shirt for many years.

In 1999 she graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a BFA. At UMD she upgraded her skills to include all graphic software and web page development.

Since then, she has done various freelance projects including:

  • Kim Storm - Warrior Woman CD cover and layout
  • Kim Storm - From the is Place CD cover and layout
  • JADS - Winelabels
  • Connections - Promotional coupons

In addition of freelance work she has worked full time for a firm in the trades producing:

  • Sell sheets
  • Price list catalog
  • A 150 page Vo-Tech manual with illustrations and photos

  • Animated gifs
  • Packaging
  • Labels
  • 4 color national print ads
  • Brochures

Currently residing in the Metro area of Minneapolis, she is available for freelance or any other interesting project you may have.
