| 1. Any student enrolled in an Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriscience or Forestry course, in any high school in the County, is eligible to enroll in this section. This is the FFA, so the individual must have paid the current years dues. 2. members must select and arrange their own exhibit. Parents and advisors may assist. SATURDAY, JULY 30 12:00 noon - FFA Horse Judging Contest - George Allen Arena TUESDAY - AUGUST 3 - Activities will start at 2:00 p.m. at the 4-H Grandstand. Judging events to follow. - FFA Dairy Judging Contest - FFA Beef Judging Contest to follow Dairy - FFA Sheep Judging Contest to follow Beef 3:00 p.m. - FFA Tractor derby - 4-H Tractor to follow - FFA Tractor and UV Drivers should not be judging events. - FFA Truck Driving - FFA Potato Judging Contest - Agricultral Exhibition Hall diresctly after Sheep Contest - FFA Awards - 4-H grandstand after potato contest and other FFA contest papers corrected. Contestants must be regularly enrolled pupils in Northern District FFA classes. 2. Team shall consist of 4 members. 3. The potato judging score card will be used. 4. Three classes will be selected from Department 6, Division 01.0 and 02.0, or Section 8, Division II. 5. A class will consist of four FFA exhibits. 6. Ten minutes will be allowed for judging. 7. All contestants are requested to refrain from visiting the potato exhibits the morning of the contest. 8. All contestants must pass papers directly to person in charge, as soon as completed. 9. Talking is absolutely prohibited during judging. 10. Time and place of judging to be announced. (7:00 p.m.) 11. Contestants must be regularly enrolled pupils in vocational agriculture classes. (Spring graduates ok) 2. Teams shall consist of 4 FFA members for beef judging and 4 FFA members for dairy judging. 3. The dairy type judging score card will be used. 4. Four classes will be selected from open classes for judging. 5. A class will consist of four animals. 6. ten minutes will be allowed for judging each class. 7. All contestants are required to refrain from visiting the dairy and beef exhibits until after the contest. 8. Talking among contestants will be absolutely prohibited during the judging. 9. Allother regulations will be the same as those of U of M contests at Orono. 10.
