If YOU are seeking to PLACE a dog, we have a list of people who have expressed interest in adopting or providing a foster home for your dog. NOTE: We have not screened these people to determine they are suitable to take your dog; it is up to you to do this for yourself, despite the fact that we recommend those who are members of the International Norfolk and Norwich Terrier Club because of they have signed a statement saying they practice the INNTC Responsible Dog Owners Creed; you will have to decide for yourself if this should matter in choosing the home to relocate your dog.

If You Want to Adopt a Norfolk or Norwich Terrier which needs a
Home:
There are times, although not often, that a Norfolk or Norwich Terrier needs to be rehomed, usually because of circumstances that have nothing at all to do with the dog's temperament or behavior. Sometimes a retired show dog is ready for its own pet home; sometimes an owner becomes incapacitated or dies. A number of us have rehomed older dogs with wonderful results and will be happy to share information with potential adopters. Just ask. If you are interested in rehoming a Norfolk or Norwich Terrier, please write about yourself to Suzanne Orban-Stagle at <[email protected]>. Please include information about yourself, your family, your home, your lifestyle and your history with dogs.
Fortunately, very few Norfolk or Norwich terriers need rehoming. In 1999, this club assisted in placing only five of them.
