Charity
In keeping with the tradition of the founders of what today is Nordic Club Seoul, we combine having a good time or enjoying a good meal with raising funds for charities in Korea.
As the number of our members vary, so does our funds, but we manage to use 100% of our assets for a better good.
We support a variety of organisations, orphanages, retirement homes, sanatoriums, children or youngsters with physical and mental disablilites to mention a few.
The largest contribution towards our charity work is made possible through the proud sponsors of our annual Charity Ball. Our members largely contribute with their time.
Charity Ball
Among the balls held in Seoul by different expat clubs and groups, the NCS Charity Ball is definately among the smaller, with a guest total around 100. That is the reason why it is also famous for being the most intimate and ”extraordinary” of the balls.
In addition to lovely settings, exquisite foods and beverages-all thanks to the hard work and great imagination of our ball committee- we are also thankful to our sponsors for their generous contributions. The imaginative themes for the balls make up agreat frame for a night that is promising to be memorable also for great music and raffles wins extraordinaire. |
