SUMMER 2003 Page-2
We had guest from Arizona, come for a visit the end of June. They arrived Thursday night and we left for a camping/fishing trip to Seward the next day. We had rented a motor home for Robert, Andrea and Lynn and were joined by part of our Alaskan family - Steve, Debbie, and Amanda, who traveled in their truck/camper and pulled the boat. Bill and I followed in our truck/camper.
After finding three campsites together.
We quickly parked
and set up camp. After
admiring the beautiful view, it was time
start our campfire.

Lynn had accompanied her Dad and had her
photo made with the ship
in the background.
I don't know what time we arrived in Seward, but it had been a nice day, if a bit cool. The sun didn't set till around mid-night, as we had just passed Summer Soltice. It was wonderful to sit around the campfire and relax after having a sandwich for supper.
Here is the whole gang gathered around our campfire. Except Amanda, who had taken the dogs for a walk.
It wasn't long till most of us called it a day and went to bed. Tomorrow would be "FISHING DAY". Everyone would be going except Debbie, Amanda and me. We would stay in camp with our dogs and have a lazy day.
