Disability is a natural part of the human experience and this in no way diminishes you're rights to participate in or contribute to our society, and the older you get the chances of becoming disabled dramatically increases. Providing quality education for our nation's children with disabilities is an essential if not key element of our national policy (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) of ensuring equality of opportunity in full participation independent living and economic self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities.
