Both Madison and Taylor took first in their categories in dog obedience Monday, and both had placements in with the winners! Pretty good for their very first year! On Tuesday, Jack, Maddie and Taylor all took firsts in their divisions in showmanship! Judge Peggy Miller.
Courtney took best in senior cat showmanship (where the handler's skill is judged) on Friday, after working long and hard with her cat Wish in the Cat Project. Courtney also did a really nice cat care notebook that you can see in the still project room.

Also, 5H4H member Hannah Groniger's lovely tabby-calico Nala was reserve winner in the final Grand Champion Cat category! (Photo on the final page.)
The still exhibit judging was Saturday. Jack, Courtney and our outgoing president PJ put up a really nice 5H club display in the still project room, celebrating the 100 years of 4-H with fireworks (paper ones!) The Colvins made a really beautiful display for Roots and Shoots, with a tree with each member's name on the leaves. Hayden and Lonnie have a really big complicated Lego computerized factory set up with two computers in the still project room.

The medieval project entered the costumes they made. Courtney's wildflower project all entered notebooks. The Cloverbuds contributed a lot of things, too!
