The 5-H is a Community Club of the Kalamazoo County 4-H. FundraiserOur clubs Krispy Kreme Fund Raiser was May 30th. Lorene and Cindy purchased boxes from the Grand Rapids Krispy Kreme; we then met at 7am and distributed the boxes. Sue also handed out the Fair books at that time (June 19 is our deadline for turning in the forms.) Marisol called the local radio station about the doughnuts, and sold out in no time! Profit was $823.54 . MeetingJune 26 at the Marsh-Prelesniks house to paint barrels as a club entry into The County Fair. Wear old clothes. Painting starts at 3 p.m., Potluck at 5:30 -- bring your own table service. A short meeting to be held after the meal. Special MeetingA special meeting was called at the County 4-H office on Tuesday, July 29th at 7 p.m. to discuss the future of our club--"to keep the club going in a fun effective way." Linda can no longer be Leader. Courtney, Jack, and Kevin were the only teens there. Sue Rockenbach volunteered to be the new leader, and announced that she would be instituting more rules.
