This is page on which I present my sewing and knitting works for dolls (except for bjd's, almost all their clothing is made by me, so it can be seen on their own page.) For start, here are a couple of pieces I did for my sister-in-law's birthday. She recently bought two Pullips which have the same body size as Tiny Kitty and Barbie. I had a dress pattern for Tiny Kitty and decided to try how that would suit Pullip. My sister-in-law is a total etno-person, but since I'm not I didn't have anything etno in my fabric pile and decided to do something retro instead. The dress turned out 60's style and brought back happy memories for birthday girl's mother :-) For finishing touch I made a shopping bag (if you're curious about the shop name: Mummo is Finnish for grandma, so it's Grandma's Closet) and price tag.
To go with the dress, I made a necklace and box with slightly more ethnical spirit (origami theme).
Sister-in-law loved these little gifts so much she wanted something alike for her other Pullip. Here's the other outfit: underwater print dress with tulle skirt attached to lining, necklace of four charms and bead bracelet. My Tiny Kitty agreed to model.
I also took some pics of the packing and price tags for the jewelry.
I didn't rush to buy re-ment miniatures the first time I saw them but as the time went by and new series were produced I couldn't resist anymore. I chose mostly food items that looked somewhat familiar for west world but also picked one more japanese set from series I love Kyoto. My things arrived in the most beautiful springtime and so I thought it would be fitting to dress Tonner Marley for hanami, japanese cherry blossom festival. Here she is in her pale pink silk dress, ready to go for a picnic under the cherry trees.
