This page is dedicated to Madame Alexander Alex fashion dolls. As I like realistic dolls the most, I'm not too interested in Alex dolls. There�s one exception, and she is Suzette Morgan. From the very first Suzette in 2005 I�ve liked all the editions of her. Summer 2006 I bought the latest Suzette called World Class Beauty. I�ve been very pleased with her, quality is superb, some joints are little loose though. Her colourful clothing is a nice break from Tyler�s high class style and Alexander quality is in my opinion even better than Tonner�s.
Although Alex dolls aren't my favourites, they do have lots of interesting clothing I'd like to get.
Encouraged by Suzette being to my liking, I asked my family to get me a Christmas present of Alex stuff, one doll and two outfits. The doll was La Vida Sofia Cruz. Everything is super quality again but Sofia isn�t a character I would love. I like the outfit and accessories a lot, but as the colour is not right for Suzette and they won�t fit Tyler dolls, I have to think what to do with them.
The outfits I mentioned above were Romance in Me and 2006�s Caribbean Cool.
Romance in Me is a pretty outfit but it doesn�t suit any of my dolls perfectly plus the shoes are too small, even for Suzette and Sofia (it�s propably because the shoes are made for the stationary foot dolls, both my dolls are fully articulated).
Caribbean Cool doesn�t count as a complete outfit in my opinion because no shoes nor hose came with it, but it�s a superb combination of dress and blouse (the latter also fits NYCB Emilie). It�s just right for Suzette.
Having now experience of both Tyler and Alex type dolls I�ve built up a comparison table. Both dolls have their good and weak sides but Tyler remains my favourite.
