nagoyagirl no longer...! I left my job a week ago and moved out of my apartment last weekend! It was possibly the best 15 months of my life! So goodbye Nagoya....I'll be back!

Meanwhile...last week, I hung out with my friend Rich (check out his pictures at filtystinking.com ) in Nagoya and Osaka. Check out the aquariums we went to here!

Now, I'm in Shizuoka prefecture hanging out and enjoying a bit of a rest, studying for the Japanese Proficiency Test in December, and planning my last few getaways to Yokohama, Ghibli Museum, Disneyland and Tokyo (again!)

So check back again!

I had another whole week off! And this time I had Ma from home to create havoc with me!

We went on a road trip to the beach, Wakasa on the Japan Sea. We were cramped in the back of an Estima for 3 hours each way...and the day turned out to be a lot of fun, but those of you in Sydney: don't take advantage of the beaches in your own city! Because we drove three hours for something that wasn't
as beautiful as any of Sydney's beaches. It was heaps fun all the same.

We hung around Nagoya too, of course.

It rained a lot, and really but we went to Nara anyway, saw some temples, and big Buddhas.

Final stop: Tokyo. We wanted to go to Sanrio Puroland, but couldn't because of the rain, we were scared we might get stuck if the trains got cancelled. I wanted to try Shimokitazawa and Roppongi Hills too, but didn't fancy getting lost in the rain so took us to the usual Shibuya and Harajuku and got to check out some Costume Play kids.
