Major Update: My old motherboard has died due to mishandling. Updated my current Prescott Rig with the new motherboard.
A simple plain page showing you my new Rig specifications. In the page about me, (bio.htm), there's a rig spec & pics of my celeron pc, that pc has died and is replaced by this newly assembled rig of mine. :)
Side view of my new computer & casing
Pic snapped with flash. See the new intel fan which is humongous and good enough to cool down the lga775 cpu. See the Gigabyte Geforce PCX 5750 card utilizing the new interface, PCI-Express.
Back view. Powered by Antec's PSU, this is a special version of the SmartPower PSU, called SmartBlue for this instance due to its having blue LED's. [Update: The Antec PSU intake exhaust fan has ceased functioning and due to that the CPU fan has to work even harder to cool down the CPU due to hot air not being able to be sucked out via the PSU, the Chassis fan is already doing as much as it can, and subsequently the PSU has been replaced by a newer one called Silverstone ST46F 460W PSU ATX12 v2.0]
The front of the casing. See the P4 logo below. and the Antec wording on top. This casing is made entirely of aluminum and is extremely light even with its drive bays totally filled. The front has a swaying door that hides the components. You can see the door open in the next pic.
Bay with the door opened. Drives seen are the asus dvd-rom, teac (liteon) dvd writer, the oldie 1.44MB floppy drive and u can see the SATA HDD below (with the barcode) [Pictures taken with FujiFilm FinePix Digital Camera 3.2MP]
Removed my PCI ATA Controller due to BSOD clashes with its driver. Bought a 5'25" External Rack instead to house my ASUS E-616 DVD-ROM and run in using USB2.0. Bought another stick of RAM totaling it to 1GB from 512MB previously
Updated all my computer rigs to Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Official Version)
Here is a picture of my computer in portrait mode, you can see the Creative Surround Station holding my centre and surround speakers. [Picture takin with Sony DVD HandyCam DCR-201 Megapixel]
