| I first became seriously interested in genealogy in 1999, and since then I have (through the help and guidance of many experienced genealogists) amassed a wealth of knowledge about my ancestors, back as far as 10 generations! (or over 200 years!) I have visited the graves of my forefathers (and foremothers) who died a hundred years before I was born. I have met relatives I never knew I had (affectionately dubbed "cousins"). There is much left to do, but that's the fun part of genealogy, there's always a new challenge with every new branch of the family tree! |
