Businessman, 64, gets jail for sex with boy, 15

NEW BRITAIN — A businessman who pleaded guilty to having sex with a teenage free black sex movies boy will spend four and half years in prison for sexual assault.
Carl Gemino, Sex Sauna Hong Kong 64, the former co-owner of Gem Manufacturing in Waterbury, stood in New Britain Superior Court in front of friends and family Wednesday, Beastiality Sex Toys saying he was sex torture disgusted and appalled at his behavior. He stood reading from a prepared statement, hand in his pocket, pausing to compose himself.
"I stand before you ashamed and contrite," Gemino said.
According to his attorney, and friends who spoke before he was three way sex sentenced, Gemino suffered from bleeding in Bhoomika Chawla Sex the brain that was discovered in 2004. Judge Joan K. Alexander factored that medical condition into the sentence, saying the bleeding contributed to his uninhibited, impulsive behavior.
The sentence was given for sexual sex methods assaults on a daughter sex boy who was 15 at the time of the encounters, which occurred last year. Gemino will also serve 20 years of probation and register as a sex offender after he's released.
Gemino was one of eight men arrested last year after the boy told police he had multiple sexual encounters with area men. Former Waterbury police Lt. Robert Kennedy was accused of assaulting the boy, as was former judicial marshal Donald grandma sex Beaulieu, 41, of Watertown.
One of the men involved in the sexual activity, Edwin Guindin, admitted in court that he took part in an encounter with the boy and Gemino. Guindin said Gemino introduced him to the boy, and after arriving at Gemino's 6,758-square-foot Watertown home, he and the teenager soaked in a Jacuzzi. The three of them had sex with each other in Gemino's bedroom afterward.
Gemino pleaded guilty in June to sexual assault.
The eight men charged pantyhose sex videos in the case were arrested because the boy was 15 at the time of their encounters. The age of consent in Connecticut is 16, a provision that Gemino's attorney criticized, saying he wanted to shake the lawmakers who created it by their lapels.
"I'm infuriated by this law," said Timothy C. Moynahan, Gemino's attorney.
Christopher Gemino, one of Gemino's three children, spoke on his father's behalf Wednesday. He cried during his speech, saying his father had taught him to lead an honest life. However, he had denied a side of his personality that included bisexual impulses, he said.
Carl Gemino told Alexander his arrest had led him to an understanding about how far he had fallen. Medicine and counseling have helped his medical condition, he said.
"I no longer feel subject to the impulses that were so very persistent," he said.
Although Alexander noted his medical condition, she said there had to be a deterrent to having sex with minors.
"In this court's opinion, this is not a case about sexuality," she said. "This case is about protecting children."
Alexander struck a balance between the sentencing recommendations of prosecutors and Gemino's lawyer. Prosecutors were asking Gemino be sentenced to a decade in prison, while Moynahan wanted the mandatory minimum of nine months.
When he is released, Gemino will be forbidden to come in contact with minors and will have to submit to electronic monitoring if it's ordered by probation officials.
Gemino was allowed a few moments to wave to his family and friends as he was escorted to jail cells inside the court.

"X-Files" Star Duchovny Leaves Sex Rehab

Actor David Duchovny has checked out of a rehabilitation center after successfully completing a program for sex addiction, People Magazine reported, citing the star's lawyer.
"David is out of rehab and about to start a new movie," the attorney Stein announced.
The actor, 48, voluntarily entered a facility to treat the addiction in August.
Duchovny has been married to actress Téa Leoni since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

A new book by a Rutgers University-Camden criminologist reveals the profound impact of shoplifting and prostitution on both a region and the lives of the women who depend on these illegal acts.
Out in the Storm - Drug-Addicted Women Living as Shoplifters and Sex Workers by Gail A. Caputo, an associate professor of criminal justice at Rutgers-Camden, sex pictures offers vivid insights from 100 hours of interviews with 38 women who sold themselves and the merchandise they shoplifted.
"These are tragic stories, and we need to care, because these stories aren't going to end," says Caputo, who wrote this book for a wide audience, from those working in the criminal justice field to the average citizen. "These women shared their secrets with me, and they trusted me, and people need to listen."
Published by Northeastern University Press, Caputo's book is a departure from many works of criminological research in its emphasis on the authentic voices of shoplifters and sex workers. "Some feminist scholars portray these women as victims, doing what they're doing because they've been victimized," says the author, who earned her PhD from Rutgers-Newark. "I want to make the case that if you deny a woman her agency, you're devaluing her."
Caputo points out that even the women with the most heartbreaking stories ultimately made pragmatic - even entrepreneurial - choices. "I want to make it clear that what these women do is indeed work," Caputo says, adding that the women became "professional" shoplifters or sex workers to get what other people earn from more conventional careers: money, freedom, satisfaction.
That's not to say these career paths have been particularly rewarding. "The stories were very sad," Caputo says. "The women might say, 'I'm the best at this,' but still, they were suffering. It was very, very sad."
A troubled past was uncovered in almost all of the women Caputo interviewed at a Philadelphia rehabilitation program or at the Camden County Jail. As children, these street workers had experienced some sort of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. Many had been exposed to alcohol or drugs at early ages, and all had become addicted to drugs - which ultimately led them to become shoplifters or sex workers (including strippers, escorts, and streetwalkers).
The Rutgers-Camden researcher also examined the roles customers play on the street. From "johns" wanting sex to poor young mothers seeking cheap infant formula, customers create the demand for sex work and shoplifting. And the complexity and pervasiveness of the illicit economy in struggling Camden or Philadelphia neighborhoods where the women either grew up or ended up also contribute to how they make their livelihoods.
"I've done a lot of research and this was just very different for me. This research has changed my life. It's changed how I think about my role. I have a responsibility towards these women and other women like them. I have a responsibility to do something, and with this (book) at least, I have given these women some voice."
