The Kill Interview 1. How's the band now? Could you tell us more about the band? THE KILL IS ON PAUSE FOR THE MOMENT. OUR DRUMMER LEFT THE BAND, AND UNTIL WE FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO FILL HIS PLACE WE ARE PRETTY MUCH DEAD. 2. What happened why your drummer left the band, do you have already new drummer as of now? I GUESS JAY LEFT THE BAND BECAUSE HIS GETTING TOO OLD TO HOLD A BLAST BEAT WITHOUT HAVING A HEART ATTACK!! HA! HE JUST IS'NT KEEN ANYMORE. HIS IN TWO OTHER BANDS. I DON'T REALY KNOW WHAT GOT INTO HIS HEAD. IT'S GOING TO BE HARD FINDING SOMEONE ELSE TO FILL HIS SHOES. WE HAVENT REALY FOUND ANYONE YET! 3. How's your recording for NO ESCAPE RECORDS and 625 PRODUCTION. is this a contract or just an idea to release songs for the said label. THE 14 TRACKS RECORDED FOR THESE TWO RELEASES COST US A SLAB OF BEER AND ARE SO MUCH FASTER THAN OUR PREVIOUS RECORDING. NO MORE NEIL X UNDINISM ON THE UPCOMING RELEASES, THOUGH TONY FROM BLOOD DUSTER IS NOW SCREAMING ABUSE. BOTH RELEASES ARE THROUGH FRIENDS WHO DIG THE KILL. THEY'RE NOT CONTRACT RELAESES. 4. Can you tell us the music you play and type of lyrics you write. What is most important to you, lyrics or music? THE KILL IS A COMBINATION OF SCREAMS, RIFFS AND BLAST! A SINGLE PEDAL THRASH ASSULT WITH NO BASS. THE LYRICS ARE ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING THAT WE CAN PAY OUT ON. I DON'T REALY CARE MUCH ABOUT LYRICS. 5. What about your The Kill demo, how many sold out? What do heard people reaction about your style of music? THERE WAS ONLY 100 COPIES PRESSED OF THE DEMO. RELEASED THROUGH NO ESCAPE RECORDS, WHICH PRETTY MUCH SOLD OUT IN THE FIRST MONTH, AS WELL AS SHARING EM OUT TO FRIENDS ETC. THE FEEDBACK WAS REALY GOOD! NOW WITH THE SAME TRAX RELEASED ON VINYL, THE REACTION IS EVEN BETTER. 6. How's the underground scene there (most especially crust/grind scene)? Do you always have some live shows? WE WERE PLAYING MANY SHOWS WITH BANDS LIKE VAGINAL CARNAGE, FUCK IM DEAD ETC, AND THE GIGS USUALY HAD A GOOD TURN OUT. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH GRIND HERE THOUGH. 7. Have you ever/already been tour in other country. When and where? NEVER! I WISH... 8. What can you say about Needful Things, Dahmer and Lucifer D Larynx and The Satanic band? Can you tell us more about this split EP you belongs at Dry Retch recs.? SEB FROM DAHMER AND I ORGANIZED THE SPLIT. WE WERE WRITING TO EACH OTHER FOR MANY YEARS BEFORE HAND. I CANT REALY REMEMBER WHO DECIDED ON DOING A 4WAY RELEASE, THOUGH WE BOTH PICKED A BAND EACH. I ASKED NEEDFUL THINGS AND SEB ASKED LUCIFER LARYNX. I COULD'NT BELIEVES HOW FUCK'N BRUTAL THE EP TURNED OUT. NT/DAHMER AND LUCIFER ALL ARE SO DIFFERENT AND SO FUCK'N INTENSE. 9. Besides to your band what do you do. Do you have anything keep you busy? YEA! I SLAVE FOR SHOCK RECORDS. EXPORTING GAY ARSE CD's TO OTHER COUNTRIES. LIKE ALL JOBS, IT SUX. 10. Do you listen noise music (industrial, experimental, harsh, electronic, etc.). What can you say about people doing this or your view about this. YES! I APPRECIATE ALL STYLES OF BRUTALITY. AS LONG AS ITS NOT DANCE. 11. If you like what is your fave noise band and what type of noise? Also some other type of band who inspired you a lot, reason that why you are here? REGURGITATE AND GORE BEYOND NECROPSY IS THE GODS OF NOISE GRIND. I WAS INFLUENCED BY BOTH BANDS. 12. How many releases do you have already. Could you tell us a short discography. THE KILL DEMO 2000 RETALIATION/THE KILL 7" EP DAHMER/LUCIFER LARYNX/NEEDFUL THINGS/THE KILL 4WAY 7" EP 13. I've seen that lots of record label have plan (released) records of The Kill. Do say that The Kill is not a contract band? NO WE ARE NOT A CONTRACT BAND. WE TRY TO RELEASE TUNES THROUGH FRIENDS LABELS AND SOME LABELS WHO ASK US. WE TRY TO STAY AS UNDERGROUND AS POSSIBLE. 14. By the way, how easy/hard to make an agreement to your band if there's a label want to release your songs. What demands you ask for... Do you paid for every song or just a complimentary/free copies. And how many if they gave/paid? WE RECORD AND THEN SEE WHAT HAPPENS FROM THEIR. AS LONG AS IT'S RELEASED, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK! 15. I think that's for all now. tell us more... Thanks!
