The Mike Piazza era began in '93 for Oriole, and so did their run of three titles in four years. Together with Vinny Castilla, Piazza led Oriole to an impressive win here over the charging O'Men, who fell short by just five points. UPDATED OWNERS LIST Nothing really new here, but it's good filler. You can click here for an updated No Fehr League owners list, complete with hometown and the league each owner joined the league. BACK TO THE NF HOME PAGE Click here to return to the main No Fehr League home page, updated regularly throughout the regular season (monthly in the offseason). NF HISTORY: OWNER ROLL CALL Click here for the list of every league owner/team dating back to the inaugural season in 1991. THE YEAR IN REVIEW... Among the notable events: Oriole and the Harry Careys pull off the deal of the season when OC trades Dante Bichette to the Harrys for Curt Schilling...remember Tuffy Rhodes?...Oriole wins despite having Oreste Destrade (Marlins) on his roster...Mr. Baseball has Bagwell, Sosa and Karros on his roster, and they still finish eighth. (Too bad he couldn't have signed them to a five-year contract then.) E-mail me with comments, complaints and general feedback about the page. |
