RATING CRITERIA

Every reviewed record gets listened to by the reviewer at least three times before any final judgement is made. Even then, this judgement is less 'final' than it might appear, ratings and indeed entire reviews may be changed ( if only slightly ) in the future without prior notice. This usually doesn't ever happen, though.

Important note as of 5th January 2003. Sam Ulwards will begin changing their ratings system. The new system will be as follows : 1 to 10, in half point increments. There will be no seperate record rating, just an overall rating.

The reviews are listed in this format:

Album name, year of release, overall rating, best song and worst song.

For instance:

THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, 1967

Overall Rating: 8.5*
Best Song: Interstellar Overdrive
Worst Song: Take Up The Stethoscope And Go

Singles will be judged with the 1-5 star system, ***½, ****, *½, you know. This rating isn't an actual record rating, nor is it an actual overall rating. We can call it the "single-rating" or whatever, and it only indicates if a single is good or if it's bad.
