I thought you should have the opportunity to know a little bit about the person who maintains this little website.

A little about my personality: I like people but am uncomfortable around strangers. I am introverted yet friendly. I don't consider myself much affected by trends or fashions. I tend to question things that most people take for granted. I try not to worry about things that are trivial. I'm a night-time person; I like to get up late and stay up late. I favor individuality and personal freedom over conformity and loss of privacy. I'm more of an artisitc/musical person than a mathematical/analytical person. I'm also a bit of a skeptic about almost everything. I'm a conservationist and love being around nature. I enjoy learning about history and I like meeting new people.

Some of the things I enjoy are: listening to music, watching movies, reading, web/graphic design, video games, anime/manga, poetry, history, magic, brewing beer, playing pool, philosophy, playing chess (occasionally), scifi/fantasy movies and books, and fine art (De Stijl, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco especially). I'm a very eclectic person. I'm also and accomplished musician who has, for oave a decade, performed semi-professionally with various groups. I also enjoy collecting vintage guitars.

Things that I dislike: Self absorbed people, vanity, closed-mindedness, people who talk about things they know nothing about, people who are intolerant of superficial differences, people who think it's funny to piss off others, hypocrites, sycophants, blatant stupidity, the RIAA, the MPAA, religious fanatics / people who use their beliefs as a shield in an attempt to get away with indecency, the corruption in government, wars, racism, bigotry, the apathy of much of the American public, consumerism, people who have a very polar worldview, the inaccuracy and bias that the permeates the media today, and being "politically correct" to the point of absurdity.
