Helena sat on the swing in the empty park and watched the sun set, tears swimming in her eyes. She slumped off the swing and fell hard to the ground. Her body convulsed as she cried. She let herself go. She looked up at the sky and let out a scream.
Why? Why must you take everyone I love, everyone who cares about me? Is this my punishment for not looking out for my brother, not being there for my mother. What? Just tell me why!
She covered her face with her hands and cried harder. All of a sudden she flung her hands to the ground and started to punch it. Tears fell from her face as she threw a tantrum.
I knew I never should have come back. Everywhere I go, people die. People I love. Why should this time be any different? Helena said to herself. She pulled herself up and looked around. Night had fallen and she knew Emily would be worried about her.
Oh, Emily, if only you knew how much pain Im in. How hard it is to put a smile on my face for you, she thought. She violently wiped the tears from her eyes, feeling disgusted with herself for breaking down the way she did.
She started to walk out of the park as she heard a noise from behind the trees. Moans filled the air. Helena shook her head in disgust and kept walking. A cold chill ran down her spine as she felt eyes watching her. Her breath hitched in her throat and she started to walk a little faster. A movement in the bushes turned her pace into a dead run. She looked behind her. She collided with a solid object and fell hard on her ass. She looked up, dazed and confused. For a minute she could have sworn that she saw Jeremy, and then he was gone. She pulled her knees up to her chest and looked around, completely confused. Helena saw some one walking towards her and her heart gave a sharp stab of fear.
Ms. Silverman.
As Helena heard the voice her fear lessened a little and anger replaced it.
You need to come with me right now. I have some questions for you.

Jeremy hid in the shadows, shaking. He smelled death and he wanted to make sure Helena was okay. He knew she was in pain. He heard her outburst. Inside it was killing him. Tears threatened to fill his eyes as he thought of the words Helena had screamed.
If only she knew the truth, he thought.
He shook off the feeling of despair and walked out of the shadows and took a deep breath. He felt an evil presence in the area. He started to walk away as a large hand fell on his shoulder, spinning him around. Jeremy came face to face with the one man he thought he never would see again.
Hi, son.
