Website Summary:
What content will the site contain?
The site will contain images and text info of every piece of media in my collection (blu-rays, DVDs, etc.)
Where will you get all of the content for your site (ie. images & text)?
I plan on pulling images either from TheMovieDB or Blu-ray.com and release info from Blu-ray.com.
Why should users care about the focus of the site?
I have many friends and family members that like to see my physical collection on the shelf when they visit me, the goal of this site is to be a virtual version of that. People will also sometimes give me movies as gifts and they can use this as a resource to see if I own something already or not (something that I've been asked about in the past).
Why should a site be built for this?
I've tried to use other sites that offer this type of collection tracking service, but I'm always disappointed with how it's laid out, or how it looks. This way I can be in control of how the site works and looks.
What would you like users to do at your site?
Admire and feel jealous about all the plastic I've purchased! Just kidding. Like I said, I hope it is useful to people I know either to see what I own, or just to check it out.
What is the goal of this site?
To catalog my physical movie collection in a way that looks the way I want, and to be useful as a resource as a collector.
