1990 Pontiac Grand Prix STE Turbo
Here is a picture of the car I bought in November 2001, a 1990 Grand Prix STE Turbo. It has a 3.1 liter V6 turbo with 205 horsepower. Only 1000 of these were ever made.
Here is the day I bought the STE. My Trans Am is in the background.
Here you can see the 3.1 liter turbocharged V6 with 205 hp stock. Add a chip, t-stat, and cold air kit and you are easily in the low 14's. Newer pic on right.
So far I have:

The exterior of the STE is clean looking. It's not a very flashy car so it could be considered a sleeper. One of my best mods was the addition of white 5 spoke wheels from a 96 GTP. Hood louvers are standard and a power moonroof was optional. The STE has a unique rear center piece between the taillights that no other Grand Prix has. It also has the front center light bar which all sedans got in 1994. Dual exhaust was standard as well, and the STE received a BYP ground effects package.
A few interior shots, from newest to oldest.
The interior of the STE is unique and comfortable. Bowtie seats are power driver and passenger. A driver's info center (DIC) was standard and tells average mpg, range, service requirements, and other goodies. Also standard is an 8 speaker stereo with an amp and gain switch on the driver's door for the rear speakers. Thanks to the moonroof the interior is very open. A very cool mod was the addition of a heads up display (HUD). I installed two, the original was tan from an 89 TGP. But I couldn't pass up a newer style HUD from a 92 GP that was correct in color.
