| If someone were to ask me how close I got to heaven I will have to say Ko Phuket. It was really like a paradise...there are so many beautiful islands that you can go to by boat around Phuket Krabi, Phi Phi, etc. I really want to go back there someday when I have more time on my hands...maybe in November or so. We'll wait and see!. |

| The first day in Phuket I decided to watch the sun come up over the ocean...I walked down to the beach around 5 o'clock and sat there waiting. Probably about 6 or so I realized that it was actually darker out across the waves...then I realized that I was on the EAST side of the island. I wasn't going to get to see the sunrise over the ocean that day (or any day for that matter). |

| Both pictures are from before 8 AM my first day in Phuket...by noon there are about half a million people on the beach. Many of them were fat sunburned falangs (like me). A lot of Japanese people too... |

| These are "long necked" boats. Many of them fish during the night and then hire out during the day to take tourists to other smaller islands like Krabi or Phi Phi. |
