Symposium on "NMR Spectroscopy of Polymers"
ACS National Meeting, New Orleans, March 2003
At the ACS National Meeting on March 23-27, 2003, we successfully organized an international symposium featuring the latest developments in the NMR studies of polymers and biopolymers.  Equal emphasis was placed on solid state NMR and solution NMR, and on fundamental research as well as industrially important problems.  It was sponsored by the ACS Polymer Chemistry Division.

Approximately 90 leaders and active practitioners of polymer NMR presented their work.  The preprints of their papers can be found in ACS Polymer Preprints, Volume 44, Part 1, 2003.

For your information, the program and the symposium contributors are given in the following pages.

Future Symposia:

For your information, another symposium on "NMR Spectroscopy of Polymers" is being planned for Pacifichem 2005, on December 15-20, 2005 in Honolulu, HI. The lead organizer of the 2005 symposium will be Peter Macdonald, and he will be assisted by Andrew Whittaker, Tetsuo Asakura, H. N. Cheng, and Alan English. Please mark that date in your calendars. Hopefully, we shall all meet in Honolulu at that time.
