Pasta Amore was brought to fruition in 1976 by Salvatore and Pasqualina Costellati. Hailing from the beautiful and colorful small town of Verazza, Italy (part of the Cinque Terre region), Sal and Lina, as they’re more affectionately known, moved to the U.S. in 1972 with their four small children. With little money to their name and a full family of bambinos to support, they decided to put the traditions and recipes of their home to good use.
Pasta Amore was started with the intention of bringing Italian traditions to the US and sharing their love for traditional Italian cuisine with others. Favorite dishes have bee tweaked to offer a new and interesting spin on old classics. For Sal and Lina, food and family are synonymous ideas and they’ve used Pasta Amore as a way to encourage others to put the family back into their food.
Welcome to our heart and our home. Have a seat and talk amongst yourselves, family style. Buon appetito!
