Students will become familiar with the basic properties of water. They will understand that water is necessary for all living things
- 1 explore and describe the basic properties of water
- 2 observe and compare the water absorption capabilities of a variety of materials
- 3 investigate cohesion by studying the flow of water from drops to streams
- 4 compare water with other common liquids
- 5 describe ways water is used by people, plants, and animals
