Mary Ann Bosi

Mary Ann Bosi was born on November 8, 1934 in Ladd, Illinois at St. Margaret's Hospital. She was confirmed in May of 1944. She then had her first communion one week later. Mary Ann went to St. Adrian's Grammar School and graduated June of 1948. She achieved a scholastic and acting scholarship. Mary Ann attended Calumet High School but left after her second year in 1950. She did receive her GED and went on to attend Morraine Valley College and College of the Desert in Palm Desert. As yet, she has never declaired a major, but she enjoys learning. Mary Ann became engaged to a wonderful man by the name of Ralph Patrick Amato in November of 1953 at the home of her parents. She married Ralph on May 15, 1954 at St. Albert's Church in Burbank, IL. They honeymooned in Daytona, Florida. Ralph Amato was born on July 10, 1933. Mary Ann and Ralph had the following children:

Ralph was in the National Guard and attended summer camp training with Hank Bosi, Mary Ann's brother. Mary Ann and Ralph retired in Palm Springs, CA in 1990 and they love it! They belong to the Italian Catholic Federation, AARP, and The Good Sam's RV Club. They enjoys talking on the phone, playing poker, jig-saw puzzles, reading, and woodworking. Her favorite color is mauve, Ralph's is blue. Their favorite food is mostacolli and meatballs! They also enjoy spending time with their granddaughter Nicole and spending time with eachother. She is currently fighting cancer, "I know I'm winning this battle and hopefully I will win the war," said Mary Ann.
