| Christmas Each year in December, church members assist with the delivery of the Santa Claus Girls� gift packages for the Rockford area. Thanks to all who help each year. Contact the church office to help THIS year. 616-866-2230 |
| Christmas In 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 our congregation has filled many Christmas boxes for Samaritan's Purse to deliver to needy children. You can start collecting small items now for the 2008 boxes! Bring them to church by in mid-November, 2008. |

| Thanksgiving Since 2004, Members & Friends have donated many pounds of turkeys for the North Kent Service Center Thanksgiving boxes. Thank you to all who helped buy, count, weigh & deliver these turkeys! Watch for news of next year's "Turkey Trot" in October - November. |
| Habitat for Humanity - Auction We raised over $5000 in April of 2002 for our Habitat for Humanity house. Thanks to all our local merchants as well as church members for the generous donations. |
| Blood Drive - at the Rockford Community Cabin a success!! Thank you to all who participated. THE RESULTS 88 signed in to donate and one first-time donor participated. |
| Bucks for Beans After a special collection in the fall of 2007, one of our members picked up 500 pounds of dried beans (white, pinto, and red) at a grain elevator on the east side of the state. Donated to the North Kent Service Center, the beans are put into one and two pound bags with recipes and given to their clients. Watch for news of the next trip! |
