After 11 hours of driving, due to excessive pit stops and wrong turns(Andy), we finally arrived at our destination. It was a
chalet nestled on top of one of Gatlinburg's highest mountains.
Since each day after arriving followed the same basic schedule, with the exception of having a different main event scheduled for each day, I decided to sum up the whole trip by just describing what we did the whole time we were there without using a true timeline.
In the afternoon we spent a good deal time by either hiking trails touring the town, or visiting attractions. (These were our big events)
In the early evening, around 6:00p.m, we would either go out to eat or BBQ in the back yard of the chalet. After that, we usually ended up going out to a number of different nightspots. Unfortunately I only have 1 picture of any of these events.
, we would come back to the chalet for some much anticipated R&R. This usually consisted of starting a campfire and milling around it for a while, and eventually winding up in the HOT tub. I emphasized hot because the temperature was usually about 102 degrees.
