To begin our journey, all nine of us met at my house in mobile on Saturday March 9th at 5:30 a.m. We then left a half hour later to begin our trip.

After 11 hours of driving, due to excessive pit stops and wrong turns(Andy), we finally arrived at our destination. It was a chalet nestled on top of one of Gatlinburg's highest mountains.

Shortly after arriving and digging in for the 5 day/4 night stay our real spring break began.

Since each day after arriving followed the same basic schedule, with the exception of having a different main event scheduled for each day, I decided to sum up the whole trip by just describing what we did the whole time we were there without using a true timeline.

Each morning around 1:00 p.m. or so, we would wake up and start the day off with a healthy breakfast.

(leftover pizza and chicken, Doritos, ketchup, Highlife and Baccardi)

In the afternoon we spent a good deal time by either hiking trails touring the town, or visiting attractions. (These were our big events)

In the early evening, around 6:00p.m, we would either go out to eat or BBQ in the back yard of the chalet. After that, we usually ended up going out to a number of different nightspots. Unfortunately I only have 1 picture of any of these events.

(BBQing in the yard)

After each healthy night of drinking, only for those who were of legal age , we would come back to the chalet for some much anticipated R&R. This usually consisted of starting a campfire and milling around it for a while, and eventually winding up in the HOT tub. I emphasized hot because the temperature was usually about 102 degrees.

After 1-2 hours of soaking in the 102-degree bacteria tank, most of us being tanked and/or tired, would head in for the night. Some of us were so tired we couldnt even make it back to our bedrooms.

Bad Andy, Bad!

Finally, Wednesday morning we woke up early and prepared to leave. We packed and cleaned until we were ready to go. Then, as a final matter of business, we signed the guest book to leave our mark then walked out the door to leave the national park.
