* Always bring wind breaker/jersey or jacket with you even summer time because some places are very windy.
* Always sun smart. Apply sun block esp. between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., wear sun hat and sunglasses as the sun is real strong here.
* Bring some personal and common medicines with you because many of them need prescriptions in which is very expensive to visit Doctor to get it in order to buy medicines (approx. NZ$50).
* Try not to bring foods, wooden stuff, plants or seeds, animals with you. New Zealand Customs is very strict about them. If you want to bring foods, make sure they are properly commercial sealed. Anyway, pork products are not allowed to be brought in by yourselves. You also need to declare them too. Try to make things right so we will not have any problem.
