The south tower contains a ring of six bells and two sanctus bells. The tenor has a diameter of 40 inches and a strike note of G natural. The bells were rehung in 1980 in the old frame with new fittings, and the forth and tenor recast. The new treble was hung in a steel frame in 1983. The treble is slightly louder than the other bells as it is hung below the back five. |
