I started my education from the kinder garden. Then, I continued it in elementary school number 1 talang kelapa and followed by junior high school 51 Palembang. Now, I’m the student in South Sumatera Senior High School (Sampoerna Academy) exactly in eleventh grader. As my school is one of holistic boarding school in South Sumatera that provide education with International Standard, so we’re as the student must stay in dormitory along the academic year, yeah except several special days, such as Ied Mubarak, Christmas, new year and also at the end of academic year.

My school vision is “To be recognized as the premier school in South Sumatera for creating future Indonesian leader” and the mission is “To shape students who will be competent, globally minded and responsible future leaders.”

The programs in my school are dormitory living, which usually we have our movie night, cooking night, rohis or may be recreation. Besides, there is also learning to live program which divides in 4, these are global citizenship, personal well being, creativity and art and the last is community and services. As my school provide the international standard of education, we’re as the student not only learn about National Curriculum which is KTSP, but we also learn international curriculum which is International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). IGCSE Lessons are: English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, ICT, Economics/Bussines Study, and Geography. While KTSP lessons are: Religion, Civics, Indonesian, Foreign languages (Arabic), History, Geography, Sosiology, Art, Physical Education.

Furthermore, our school also has nine core values which always become the values that the school really wants to see in us as the student. Nine core values are:

To understand and accept a common code of ethnics, including trust, honesty, and valuing self and others with equal dignity
