Remember, Do not buy Gold Products, Gemstones, exotic wooden products or silver. These products, in most cases, have been mined with great damage to the natural environment. They have also been responsible for the corruption of many governments and bloody warfare around the world.
Please leave young baby animals to their own. Baby rabbits may look abandoned but it is more likely that they just look that way! Most mother rabbits hide during the day and feed their young at night. This is a survival strategy that we humans are not well aware of. Wild Life is very good at hiding and at taking care of their young. Do not disturb them. This includes most wild animals and birds. Unless you have accidently killed the mother never assume that the young are abandoned.
Never leave garbage like plastic bags, plastic rings from six packs, tin cans with lids still attached exposed to wild animals to forage on. Wild animals will forage over any landfill. An old plastic ring or tin can locked onto the snout or over the neck of a oppossum, raccoon or coyote is a terrible way for them to die! Your trash may become their death trap! Please remove all lids and cut all plastic rings before disposing of them in your trash. Also remember to remove all handles from old Teapots and buckets.
Never leave automotive antifreeze on the ground exposed after your car boils over. It will kill birds, pets, and other wild Life when they drink even small amounts of this poison. Carry a bag of kitty litter in the trunk of your car to sprinkle over and absorb any spills of antifreeze coolant wherever it may happen.Remember! Our carelessness is harmful to the environment and its innocent wild inhabitants. Think! It is not expensive.
Lastly, PLEASE do not let your lovable feline roam in the spring and summer. Keep Fluffy on a leash. Our wild world will survive much longer! Cat populations are wreaking havoc upon our Native ecology!
