Full Moon: Observe And Learn.
This Audio cassette will take you on a long detailed tour of the full moon's disc. It will show you many features and describe the following. You will learn about it's general specifications, orbit, the Lunar interior, Mantle and Crust. The Cassette will explain the moon's atmosphere, climatic conditions, Erosion, Luner formation theories and it's past history. You will learn about the moon's melting period and it's volcanic period. Orion: Observe and Learn.
Even if you are well acquainted with the Orion Constellation this Cassette will teach you something you did not know! First we start with a general outline of this constellation and then we get down to bussiness! We supply A constellation map. You will first zoom in on the star Mintaka. This star was the very first ever discovered to exhibit stationary lines of Calcium in it's Spectrum, thus proving conclusively, the existance of interstellar matter. You will be told of it's temperature, nuclear processes, radial velocity, proper motion, it's size and distance, spectra characteristics and any other properties that may exist in any important category. We will go on to other important stars in the constellation and you will learn about them also. You will learn of Alnilam, Alnitak, Rigel, the famous star Betelgeuse which happens to be an orange supergiant variable. You will learn of Belatrix, Saiph, the binary star, Meissa. You will get to study the quadruple star system known as the Trapezium Cluster. This Star Cluster lies at the very heart of the Great Orion Nebulae!You will be given many of the facts about all of those stars as you observe them through your telescope! We will focus on all of them one by one! That is not all! We will show you the Great Orion Nebula and we will analyze it for you as you observe. Then you will visit two more nebula, M-78 and the almost invisible Horse HeadNebula. When you are done with that we will guide you on to two star clusters in this constellation. They are NGC-2194 and NGC-2169.
