I am an Electronics Engineer ( trust me I do know a bit of it) who is slowly being metamorphised into a Software Engineer under extreme working conditions in Sterling Commerce Solutions (AT&T company). Currently posted at Bangalore, a beautiful city in the state of Karnataka. The town has a typical south Indian touch where you can find a few northies like us.I believe in ' Nothing is impossible' , that's why I believe in 'I can'. Going for the best is my passion and swimming against the tides is my obsession.
Some of my works include
Characterization of Lithium Niobate waveguides with the photonics group. we used proton exchange method using benzoic acid to develop Lithium Niobate waveguide and characterized the structure for the modes and refractive index profile.
Design of integrated electro optic modulator for low frequency fiber optic gyroscope chip with the photonics group. The electric field distribution inside the structure was successfully studied.
Presently involved in optimization of wavelength division multiplexed optical network
I am not a surreal sportsman to say ,still I can play a good number of games. My particular interests are in Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Billiards, Cricket. I am interested in philately, numismatics and in history.
I enjoy traveling. I have seen a lot of places (though in India only), not only tourist spots but some other too which have had a special impact on my views. I do a bit of reading too. Some of my favourites are Freedom at Midnight, Train to Pakistan, Rashmirathi, Madhushala.
