Here are some pictures of some of my personal weapons:

These are my Shoto blades. One is a black blade, the other is silver. Traditionally, the advantages of using a silver blade would be that you could use its reflective ness to distract an opponent and to communicate at long distances. The disadvantage, obviously, would that it would be harder to conceal.

With a black blade, it would be much more easier to conceal, but it wouldn't be possible to use it to distract or communicate at long distances.

Here is a picture of a fan and my Kubatan concealed Bo Shuriken. The fan isn't used in Ninjutsu, but they are used in Kuk-Sool to flip poison into the eyes of an opponent (don't try this at home). The Ninjutsu equivalent (in the times of feudal Japan) would have be to tie a snake around a rock and then throw it at an opponent.

The picture in the right hand corner is of the correct way to hold Bo Shuriken.
