Article
I - Name Section 1. This Club shall be called: Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley
Article
II - Purpose
Section
1. The intention of this club is to promote camaraderie, good sportsmanship, conservation,
and in general to promote good bass fishing and individual skills through the
fellowship of it’s members and through instruction and competition on the
water.
Article
III - Membership
Section
1. The membership of this club shall be composed of people interested in
furthering the purpose of this club.
Section
2. The membership of this club shall be
open to any licensed anglers 18 years of age or older.
Section
3. Honorary membership shall be granted by
this club upon the recommendation of the Executive Committee and with the
approval of the membership at large.
Article
IV –
Officers and Board Members
Section
1. The officers of this club shall be composed of the office of the President,
Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Section 2. The officers shall be nominated at the October membership meeting each year and elected at the November membership meeting. Officers shall serve a period of one year and shall be installed at the first meeting of each new year. Section 3. This club shall have a Board of Directors consisting of four members plus the past president. The Board of Directors and the Officers shall be known as the Executive Committee. Section 4. Members of the Executive Committee who have missed three consecutive board meetings shall be subject to dismissal from the Executive Committee. Members will be notified that he/she is subject to dismissal and has the right to represent himself/herself before the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will recommend action to the membership.

V –
Meetings
Section
1. The club shall normally meet on the second Tuesday of each month, except on
legal holidays. The Executive
Committee shall have the authority to reschedule club meeting if the regularly
scheduled meeting falls on a holiday. Section 2. Special meetings shall be called when deemed necessary by the club President. Section 3. Anything not covered by this Constitution shall be governed by the “Robert’s Rules of Order”.
Article
VI – Amendments
Section
1. Any proposed amendment of this Constitution shall be submitted in writing at
any regular meeting of the club. Amendments
shall become a part of the Constitution only if approved by 2/3’s of the
members present and voting at the regular meeting.
Section
2. In case of the club dissolution, the
treasury balance shall be denoted to a non-profit, conservation oriented
organization for the enhancement of Black Bass in the state of California
