| In a land called Innsmouth, known to the rest of the world
as Pompeii, there were slayers. They, just like the Forty, seek the
mutilated souls. The two differences between the Forty and the Slayers of
Innsmouth whom were called The Shadows of Innsmouth, is that the Forty seek
out the worst of the worst and that seems to be it...The Shadows of Innsmouth
saught out the worst of the worst and along the way hunted down others as
well. The other difference is the Forty still exist...After the Volcano on
the land erupted, it burined Innsmouth {Pompeii} under sixty feet of ash,
killing all of it's inhabitents. Somehow Ktulu was protected and managed to
dig himself out of the ash. He found then he was Immortal; not immune to
death but unable to age. He spent many years in hatred after that. He
didn't slay anymore...he just pillaged villiage after village. In some nations
he was worshiped as a god of war or of the Underworld due to his furocity and
agelessness
Then one day, while in Japan, he met a samuria's daughter. her name was Hak-Sune {Hak means dark in Japanese}. He fell in love with her and she him. One night...the night of their secret marriage, she was transformed into a Vampire by an attacker who entered the home. He then became a Slayer once more, the only Innsmouth slayer left, he dubbed himself the Shadow of Innsmouth, only singular. Stories such as H. P. Lovercraft's The Shadow Over Innsmouth and The Call of Cthulu {Ktulu} were written based on the legend that this immortal demon hunter has left behind. Since he still abides by the rules of Innsmouth, he could not go to the Forty as well as the fact that his Wife is a Vampire, alive for four hundred years. Ktulu is known as a Shadow for he has no allegiance to any clan or family, but he has allies in the Forty, he will fight along with them and for them but will not abide by their rules. Ktulu stands almost seven feet tall with about 325 pounds of weight under his belt, long black hair and crystal blue eyes. His face paint represents his elder clans of slayers and he changed it over the years.
