Drachan and Cyra ended up in England in 1517 as a result of their exile. The government officials took pity on the twins because of their innocent smiles. Innocent. The word would follow Drachan to meet Cullen Shaw Priscus. Cullen was introduced to Cyra via Drachan, and the two started a heated love affair. This angered Drachan, and as a result, Drachan challenged Cullen to a duel of sorts, being a chivalrous individual. When Cullen accepted, Cyra briefly lost her mind and attempted to stop the duel. In the midst of the excitement and rancor, Cullen Embraced Drachan. Cyra witnessed the death of her Twin, but failed to see his Embrace. In a fit of anger, with hopes that her anger would be enough fuel to harm the Vampire Cullen, Cyra charged at Cullen. Instinctively, Cullen stabbed Cyra, fatally wounding her. Drachan awoke just in time to see his sister's murder, and flashed back to the bloody sight of his parents' deaths. The flashback would become the first of many quasi-premonitions Drachan would father over the centuries. Drachan, without knowing, nay, understanding what he was doing, Embraced Cyra. As a result, Cyra was saved from Eternal Death.

Cullen Embraced Drachan because of his valliant display of courage. Drachan Embraced Cyra because she was his Beloved Twin. Cyra, well, that's another story...

At any rate, Drachan and Cyra became members of the Priscus Clan. They became members, but didn't have any say...this angered the twins, and they held animosity towards their Sire, and their Sire's Clan. The twins were unruly concerning the rules of the Priscus Clan. Marie Priscus didn't appreciate this much, and banished the twins from her Clan. The lonely siblings were left to fend for themselves, and ultimately became members of the group known as the Shadows. Living in Exile once again, Cyra started to drift from Drachan, and went back to Cullen's arms. Marie, indulging in the fact that Cyra was willing to beg to be readmitted to the Priscus Clan, allowed for the twin to rejoin the order of vampires. Drachan, however, was warned to stay away from his sister by Cullen, and as it turns out, Cullen was luring the naive Cyra to his web of deception.

Drachan is angered by Cyra's antics...and angst has arisen between the once close twins, but the ties remain, as they always will, and Cyra smuggled a Lapis Lazuli Ring for her brother, thus allowing Drachan to walk in the sun. The chivalrous Irishman is enraged at the fact that his sister was drawn away by a hotheaded Cullen. Drachan makes everyone well aware that Cullen is NOT his favourite person, and as a result, Cullen would be wise to stay away from Drachan and his Irish temper.
