Andromeda PriscusAndromeda Priscus Andromeda's first birth was in the year 1207 during the medieval era
in
Ireland. Her parents were wealthy lords who owned everything on their
land
from a blade of grass to the serfs themselves who worked the fields.
Her
mother was a miserable woman who prayed constantly for the souls of
their
family and at times wouldn't be seen for days on end while she locked
herself in the cathedral. After she had been brought from her
mother's
womb, she was shoved towards the nursemaid, Ida, for the mistress of
the
house had no desire to lay eyes upon the demon she had spawned. Ida
became
Andromeda's serogant mother while she grew up. Her birth mother was
always
too busy trying to save her immortal soul to even be a real mother and
wife.
The lord of the house became bitter soon after accepting the fact that
his
wife had failed at giving him a suitable, male, heir. He would drink
himself into a stupor in the library daily and use the young maid
servants
excesively.
At the age of 16, her parents were in a tragic carriage accident which left her to become King Alexander's ward since all her existing relatives were deceased. A few months later, King Alexander announced that Andromeda would be betrothed to the Baron McDowel. The 63 year old baron was considered to be one of the richest land owners for miles around. A fortnight later and she was Mistress Andromeda McDowel. She was married to the gentle baron for 2 years without giving him an heir. He died at the age of 65 after suffering years with kidney problems. Andromeda was rejected from society for not giving an heir to the deceased baron McDowel and sadly, he was the last of his line. In her anguish at the thought of possibly being barren, she never married again. A long five years later, Andromeda was at another ball standing in the shadows wishing for a silence to overcome her still rather open wound , when the most beautiful woman she had ever seen came walking towards her. She had an elegance about her that made heads turn and whispers flow over hushed crowds. Andromeda would soon come to find that her name was Marie Priscus. A woman of extreme wealth, beauty, and power. Marie offered Andromeda a life without heartache and misery. She also offered the possibility of power. All so very tempting, Andromeda was wrapped in Marie's gentle embrace and given the "Gift". Marie taught her all that was needed to know about her new life. So, when the time came, Andromeda felt that it was best for her to go out on her own and experience the world in her new eyes. When Marie and Andromeda went their seperate ways, Marie let her know that there was always a place for her in Marie's home. After traveling around the world through the ages, Andromeda has now felt the need to return back to Marie Priscus. She doesn't know what awaits her in New York, but she is willing to find out. Andromeda has long curly red hair, deep blue eyes, and pale skin with a tall and slender form. She prefers to wear the style of clothing that came from her time. You will rarely see her in more common day styles, but at times she will give in. |
