Born in 1901 in Minsk, Russia, Nezvolena, as a human, was the daughter of Nicholas Romanov's sister Katarina, of the ruling Family of Russia. Intelligence was very important to Nezvolena; she was extremely well-read. By the age of eleven, she was already impressing the kings court. This human, who's beauty surpassed even that of the Hemithanes, caused the Clan to be alternately jealous and obsessive, for they longed for her beauty; they yearned for it.

She refused marriage because none of her suitors measured up to her standards, and suffice it to say, she remained a virgin. Embraced by Vladimir-Josef in 1926, when she was twenty-five years of age, she bacame the first voluptiously virginous vampire.

Vladimir-Josef met Nezvolena at a Romanov ball at the Kremlin in 1912. He saw her and fell in love, but didn't want to take one so young, so he remained in contact with the raving beauty.
