Piper suggests that for Charlene's spirit to rest, the demon who killed her must be destroyed. Armed with a spell to do just that, the Halliwells descend on the library and retrace Charlene's final steps. When Libris sucks both Phoebe and Charlene's ghost into his lair Prue does a quick astral projection and destroys him in the nick of time. Charlene is still not able to move on to the next life however.
Earlier, on a photo shoot, Prue had met Cleavant Wilson who believes his late daughter was murdered by a pawnbroker named Gibbs, but is unable to prove it. Ghostly Charlene pops up at the Pawn Shop and terrifies Gibbs into confessing in front of witnesses. Inspector Morris takes Gibbs into custody and Charlene is free to depart this mortal coil.
Dan presents Piper with Leo's army records which show that he was married. His widow, Lillian, is still alive (though remarried) and Piper visits her. Piper's jealousy is tempered by the bond of shared love for Leo. She confronts him at P3, forgives him, but says that he must be open and honest with her if their relationship is to work. The Goo Goo Dolls play and it's party time.
